FeaturesBuild

Everything the dashboard does, from your own tools

Create links from a build script, react to an install from your backend, or let an assistant manage links for you.

How it works

  1. 01

    Make a key

Keys are shown once. Secret keys carry scopes, so a key can be limited to reading. Publishable keys, the kind that ship inside an app, can only call the SDK endpoints.

  2. 02

Call the API or the CLI

REST with an OpenAPI document, or npm install -g @dl2app/cli and the dl2 command.

  3. 03

    Subscribe to what happens

Webhooks such as app.installed, delivered to your server.

What is included

  • Idempotency keys, so a retried request is not applied twice.
  • Webhook deliveries signed with HMAC-SHA256 and a timestamp, retried on failure, with a delivery log.
  • Webhook secrets that can be rotated with an overlap period.
  • An MCP server, so an assistant can work with your links.

Where it stops

  • The API is rate limited per key, with a lower limit on the Free plan.
  • While a team is read-only for non-payment, the API accepts reads but not writes.
  • A webhook URL that resolves to a private network address is refused.

The detail

Start with one link

The free plan has no time limit and needs no card. Create a project, add your app, and send yourself the link.
