What the link does

What it does not do

  • It does not open your app when it is already installed. It always goes to the store.
  • It does not count taps or installs. Nothing about the people who use it is stored.
  • It cannot be edited. The two store IDs are written in the link itself, which is also why it needs no account and cannot expire. To change a destination, make a new link.

To tag the store pages for a campaign, build the store addresses with the campaign link builder instead. To find an app's IDs, use the app ID lookup.

This free link only knows the stores. A DL2App link opens the app itself when it is installed, takes people to a chosen screen, carries them through an install, is short and on your own domain, and counts who tapped it.
