Terms
Terms of service
The agreement between you and Siddi Tek LLC, the operator of DL2App, written to be read.
Last changed 10 October 2026.
1. The service
DL2App creates links that open mobile apps or send people to the right store or web page, and gives you tools to manage, measure and test those links. You may use it for your own apps and, on plans meant for it, for your clients’ apps.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what is done through your account and your API keys. Keep them secret, use a strong password, and tell us at security@dl2.app if you think someone else has access. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us must be true.
3. Your links and your data
Your links, destinations, settings and analytics are yours. You can export them at any time, on any plan. You give us permission to store and serve them so the service works, and nothing more.
You are responsible for where your links send people and for having the right to use any name, logo or domain you add. You agree to the acceptable use policy.
If your app uses our SDKs, you are responsible for telling your users what it collects. Privacy and App Store disclosure lists what the SDKs send; our privacy page describes what we do with it.
4. Plans and payment
- Prices are on the pricing page, in US dollars, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. No plan charges per click or per install.
- A team on the free plan can try a paid plan once for 14 days without a card.
- You can change plan or cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are not refunded, including for part of a billing period, except where the law requires it. Prices do not include sales tax, VAT or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect them, they are added to your invoice.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies to you.
5. If you stop paying
If a subscription ends or an invoice stays unpaid for 14 days, the team becomes read-only. Your existing links keep redirecting; you cannot create or edit links until you subscribe again; you can still sign in and export. Nothing is deleted for non-payment. The full description, and its limits, is the permanence promise, which forms part of these terms.
6. When we can disable a link or an account
We may stop a link from redirecting, put a team’s link creation on hold, or suspend a team, when a link breaks the acceptable use policy or puts other customers at risk, for example by getting a shared domain blocklisted. Some of this is automatic.
When we flag a link we tell the team’s owners why, in the dashboard and by email. The owner can appeal once per flag from the link’s page, and we aim to answer within 2 days. That is a target, not a guarantee. For serious or repeated abuse we may suspend a team without notice.
We may retire a project that has had no clicks at all for 24 consecutive months, after 60 days’ notice by email.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep links redirecting at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and this is not a service-level agreement. We may change or remove features. We will not change how your existing links behave in order to push you to another plan, and we will not put advertising in front of them.
How links open is partly decided by Apple, Google and the apps people tap links in. We cannot promise that a given phone will open your app from a given place.
8. If the service ends
If we decide to shut DL2App down, we will give team owners at least 90 days’ notice by email, keep redirects running during that period, and provide a final export with a redirect map.
9. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting it removes your data and stops the links of any team that only you belong to. We may end the agreement if you break these terms, subject to section 6.
10. The legal part
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. You will defend us against any third-party claim arising from your links, their destinations, your content, your apps or your breach of these terms, and cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard only in the state and federal courts serving Loudoun County, Virginia, and both of us accept their jurisdiction. We may change these terms. For a change that matters we will email team owners at least 30 days before it applies. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel and export your data before then.
